Organic rodent control

Holly, trainee rodent control manager

With the cooler weather approaching we have already had a family of tiny mice move into the greenhouse. Apparently digging burrows into my potted eggplants make a cosy home.

Since I am assuming that it will only be a matter of time until others move into our larger storage shed, we have engaged the services of Holly. Hopefully she will develop excellent mice and rat catching skills as we struggled last year only using traps (no baiting for us due to organic management). I will have to be a strict manager though, the kids have tried already to reduce her work performance by giving lots and lots of cuddles.

Would love to know what other organic management techniques people have used (for the mice control – not the kids!)
